My name is Lance McNearney and I'm a passionate developer currently living in Irvine, CA.
I have extensive experience using Microsoft technologies but also enjoy dabbling with other development environments. During the day, I write code in C# utilizing the .Net framework to deliver WCF web services for public websites, game integration, payment processing, tools, and reporting.
On a typical night you can find me browsing Slashdot and Stack Overflow. I stay up to date on development trends and like to think I improve my skills every day by learning something new. I grew up with computers and probably spent way too much time online during my teen years.
My hobbies include board games (Cosmic Encounter, Imperial 2030, Small World, Dominion, etc), video games, beach volleyball, movies, and cooking. Some of my favorite books include: Watership Down, "Alas, Babylon", World War Z, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Lucifer's Hammer.
